Tuesday Nite Productions was set up in 2014 by Simon & Mike to promote their musicals A Whitechapel Tale and The Princeford Pals. The Princeford Pals was originally performed by a local amateur dramatics group based in Swanley and was such a success that they were asked by Sevenoaks Council to put it on at the local theatre the Stag in September 2014 to mark the centenary of the first world war.
The story of Princeford Pals follows four lads who sign up to go to war, Percy, Billy, Joe and Bertie.
It also tells the story of their families left behind. Joe the youngest is only 16 and we follow this brave young man as he leaves his mother Edith and his sister Alice on this fateful journey with the Pals.
Percy and Billy are brothers and are the sons of Nellie Jarvis who is devastated to see her two boys leave for war.
The Hon. Albert Wade (Bertie), son of Sir Hugh and Lady Emma Wade also joins up following the untimely death of his beloved elder brother in the trenches.
Set deep in the heart of England in the countryside we follow the boys as they enlist for the war and head off to France.
